I have always had an interest in still photography but lately I've started doing video as well using a Mavic Pro, Osmo Pocket handheld camera and an Osmo Action camera. This is the resulting footage, done for my own enjoyment, and posted here primarily for family and friends to view, but also for anyone else who cares to look. I've had fun making them, if you enjoy them that's all the better.

Glen Tilt and the Falls of Tarf
I cycled from Blair Atholl up the Glen Tilt track to The Falls of Tarf to shoot this Mavic 2 Pro drone footage. It's a 3 hour (40km) round trip, but well worth the effort as the scenery is stunning.

Out and about with the Fuji X100V. A few night shots with a 1/4 Pro Mist filter. Some shots also taken with a Vivitar wide-angle lens and Telephoto lens (pictured). The Vivitar kit was bought from an antique camera shop online at £15 for the pair - compared with £260 per lens from Fuji.

An early September evening. A cruise ship leaving Belfast, stopped near Bangor and sent a tender in to lift passengers. I was down at Luke's Point in the hope that I'd see some windsurfers. Instead I got a nice sunset and some yachts. If you look closely you'll see another drone heading out to get some photos, I wasn't theonly one.

A very short clip of our visit to Loch Morlich in Glenmore Forest at the edge of Cairngorms National Park. It was windy, wet and cold, more like February than June. The only thing missing was snow.

It was too windy and the snow was coming in fast so I had to land the Mini 2. Better luck next time, I hope.

Great film I was actually born in Holywood but my grandma lived near Ward Park in Bangor. We moved to Whitley Bay when I was 5 but of course returned to Northern Ireland at least twice a year for a very long time to see relatives. As I got older I preferred to stay with my uncle, on Holywood seafront near the yacht club, but when younger I stayed in Bangor. There was a wee tree-lined path from near the old cinema, down steps to Ward Park, which, for some reason I liked. There was even a large gun you could sit on too .. HAPPY TIMES

The steps take you from Moira Drive to the park; the Tonic cinema was allowed to fall in to disrepair, disgracefully, and then demolished. The large gun was taken from a German vessel after the Battle of Jutland in 1916, Barry Bingham, the 3rd son of Lord Clanmorris, received the VC for his actions during the naval engagement. The battle took place on 31st May, and as I was born exactly 36 years later I felt a connection when a young boy.

Thanks. I'm down in Kilkenny/Carlow three or four times a year. Up till now I've done mostly photos but since buying an Osmo Pocket I'm doing more video now. Hope to get more footage soon.

Found you from mavic pilots! Is most of this video taken with the osmo pocket? I have been looking into getting one. Great footage!
Apart from the 'old style' bit at the start and the 'cartoon' bit at the end it was all Osmo Pocket. I had to do that because the camera on my Mavic Pro wouldn't focus so all that footage was blurry, fortunately it has now been repaired. The Osmo Pocket will supplement your drone footage and is a great little camera to carry with you all the time.
